The Allegheny Health Network’s Behavioral Health Institute is rapidly growing and seeking motivated individuals who want to be at the forefront of behavioral health care.AHN is seeking a full-time Health Psychologist to provide services to our oncology patients. Provide a variety of high quality, evidence-based mental health services to people with cancer.
Highlights:
Sit within an interdisciplinary outpatient oncology clinic affiliated with the AHN Cancer Institute.
Close collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers and patient access coordinators.
Receive an additional layer of support from other Health Psychologists in the network.
Duties:
Perform psychological assessments to facilitate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy on an outpatient basis.
Complete consults in clinic to assist distressed patients, provide psychoeducation on behavioral health services available to patients, or provide referrals when necessary for additional care.
Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Collaborate with oncology staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Develop and implement quality improvement projects to improve behavioral health care in the cancer institute.
Qualifications:
Experience and/or training in psycho-oncology, integrated behavioral health or Clinical Health psychology
2-5years experience in Psychology preferred
Doctorate degree in Psychology and completion of APA Accredited Pre-Doctoral Clinical Internship.
Psychology licensure in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
